Jake "Snaks" Namisnak (Co-founder)

MTCPic_edited.png

My name is Jake Namisnak. I am the co-host and co-founder of the 'Moving the Chains' blog and podcast. I am a junior at Hanover College who is majoring in Communication and Design.

I am also a student athlete. I play football here at Hanover College as a running back. Before I even became involved with football I studied martial arts. After 11 years of training and competing I managed to compile 4 black belts and many students who

followed me. My time studying martial stopped when I was in high school and I began focusing on my studies and football. I started taking a real interest in blogging and podcasting ever since I came to school and started broadcasting. I was born and raised in Indianapolis, IN and currently live here.

Tanner Hamblen (Co-founder)

I am a senior at Hanover College who is studying Comminication and is apart of BSP. Retired college athlete, receiver and safety, 22 with the joints of somebody who is 52. Blogging and the podcast game is new to me, however I am excited to start this new journey. Terre Haute born and raised.

Drew Shoemaker

IMG_0644.JPG

My name is Drew, or Grandpa Shoe. I am a personal trainer and own my own training facility. I am a retired Division 3 football player while playing football, basketball, and baseball in high school. During my free time I like to gamble on college football and basketball and also the NFL. My insights for this information comes from pointless hours of studying teams no one cares about or games that people care about and try to make a few extra dollars.

My thoughts may seem drastic but the results are also the same. I will win some and I will lose some but as long as we are in the green, you can’t complain.I am called Grandpa Shoe for my grandpa-ish ways on thinking and living a life style that some consider to be elderly, like going to bed at 10:30 PM. Take my advice if you please but I also at least break even.

Payton Fergus

Born and raised in Hoosier Nation, Payton is a Hanover College 2018 graduate, earning a BA in History while playing football all four years. An avid Chicago sports fan, seeing as how he was named after Sweetness himself, Payton bleeds Blue/Orange and Red/Black. To him, sports and their life lessons are the key to building tomorrow’s leaders.

Sam Smith

My name is Sam Smith but not the famous one. Yes I can sing but no I won’t sing for you. I love all the stereotypical athletic fat guy sports like playing offensive line, wrestling heavyweight because no one else was big enough, and throwing shot put/discus because I definitely wasn’t going to run competitively.

I love the city of Cincinnati and each of its sports teams. So to answer your question yes I hate my life and rely on lots of beer to get me through football season.
