I said it earlier, and I'll say it again. Da Bears are going to da Super Bowl damn it...

I made this prediction very early on in the NFL season after I noticed how dominate the Chicago Bears really were. I expressed this to many of my friends that the Bears will be going back to the Super Bowl in February.
The Bears had not been back to the big game since 2006 when they faced the Indianapolis Colts.
This year they have an explosive offense in quarterback, Mitchell Trubisky. Trubisky has accounted for over 2500 passing yards and 21 touchdowns as well. Trubisky, North Carolina alumni, came out of his rookie season in the rough. There was a point during his rookie season where he was benched.
It wasn't until this year that things began to click for him and the offense. The Bears are first in the NFC with a 9-4 record. Among those 9 wins, include very important victories that will help them in the playoffs. Trubisky's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was one game that really caught my eye. He threw for over 350 yards and 6 touchdowns. It was one of his best outings in the NFL by far.
So my mind started to wonder. Is this a Super Bowl caliber team?
Um, hell yes. Their defense is all I need to say. Khalil Mack is by far the strongest, fastest and deadliest linebackers in the NFL and he proves it week in and week out. Tallying over 80 tackles and 10 sacks as well as an interception returned for a touchdown.
My point that they are going to the Super Bowl only got stronger when they came out and beat the number one team in the NFL, The LA Rams. It was an ugly game offensively on both sides. But it was the Bears defense that held them together and put them on top of the league.
The Bears are going to the Super Bowl and their defense will get them there.
