If you want to talk about the biggest sleepers in the NFL, its the Indianapolis Colts...

If you would have told me 8 weeks ago that the Indianapolis Colts have a 72% chance of making the playoffs I would slap you. A team that started off the first quarter of the season 1-5 also led the league in amount of balls dropped by receivers.
I remember going onto twitter and saw a video of the Colts where they recorded every single drop they had over the span of 2 games. It was a 3 minute video. Of just balls dropped. And I thought to myself, "Well shit, Frank Reich can't fix this program."
People started to question Andrew Luck and if his shoulder was really healed. During his first couple games back I was worried as well. He was over throwing his receivers, taking hits left and right and it really look like he was in a lot of pain.
I really felt bad for the guy. [refer to Andrew Luck segment under videos]
After starting 1-5, I was like well, here we go. Another rebuilding season. I mean, how much can you really ask from new Head Coach Frank Reich?
Maybe more than 1 win.
But just when all hoped seemed to be lost, a little bit of Luck came about.
My boys started going on a winning streak. Win after win after win after win after win after win [loss] after win things started to look good for us.
Luck has thrown for over 3900 passing yards and 34 touchdowns. There offensive line went 6 games without giving up a single sack. That is ridiculous. I haven't seen a Colts offensive line look this good since their 2009 Super Bowl run when they basically seemed unstoppable.
Have you seen Quentin Nelson? That dude is unreal. That video of him screaming while going to lay down the block still has me losing my shit. Talk about a unit. 6' 5" 330 lb. man out of Notre Dame goes out every Sunday and makes Vets look like rookies.
Did you know the Colts had a running game? Neither did I. It hasn't been since the great Edgerrin James that the Colts had a threatening run game. Marlon Mack absolutely went off last Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys, who ranked 4th in defense against the run game. Tallied over 140 all purpose yards and a pair of touchdowns to help the Colts shut out the boys down south.
Speaking of defense, the Colts defense is very threatening. I also have never said that in my life. Now it wasn't just the last game that caught my eye, it was week 10 against the division rivals Titans. I saw at least 11 men run towards the ball after the initial tackle was made. They were swarming like bats out of hell. All led by the rookie, Darius Leonard. Who, by the way, leads the league in tackles with 146 tackles as a linebacker.
If you ask me, he deserves DROY. But i know a few other of my friends who would disagree with me. You know who you are.
The Colts now have 72% chance of making it to playoffs. With the New York Giants (5-9) next week and to end the season they have once again the Tennessee Titans (8-6). What would really help out our chances are the LA Chargers beating the Baltimore Ravens next week to give Indy that jump to the Wild Card spot like they deserve.
Cause once the Colts make it to the playoffs, they are going to be one of the most threatening teams to sneak in.
Like shit! If you want to talk about a team who is flying under the radar , it's the goddamn Colts.
